Third-Party Services Disclaimer
Ounsia helps connect a guest to local services, but it does not provide those services. This disclaimer explains the limits of what Ounsia and its operator are responsible for when a third-party service is recommended or dispatched.
Information and connection only
Any information about a local service, and any connection the bot makes to a provider, is provided for convenience only. It is not advice, an offer, a guarantee, or a recommendation to use a particular provider.
When the bot relays a request to a taxi, a delivery rider, a driver, a restaurant, a pharmacy listing, or any other service, Ounsia is acting purely as an intermediary and translator on the host's behalf. The decision to use the service, and the use itself, are at the guest's own choice and risk.
Independent third parties and host ownership
Third-party services are provided by independent businesses or individuals who are not employed, controlled, supervised, or directed by Ounsia. Where a provider was added by a host, that host selected, priced, and stands behind the provider, and the host is responsible for them.
Ounsia does not act as agent, partner, broker, or guarantor of any provider. No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship is created between Ounsia and any provider, host, or guest by use of the service.
No endorsement, vetting, or certification
Ounsia does not vet, screen, license, certify, insure, or endorse any third-party provider. We make no representation about a provider's identity, qualifications, licensing, insurance, vehicle, hygiene, conduct, reliability, or fitness.
Listings, suggestions, and the order in which options appear do not imply any endorsement or quality ranking by Ounsia.
No liability for third-party services
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ounsia and its operator are not liable for any act, omission, conduct, or outcome of a third-party provider, including:
- the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any service, vehicle, product, or food;
- pricing, overcharging, fees, or payment disputes;
- delays, no-shows, cancellations, or failure to provide the service;
- personal injury, illness, death, property damage, theft, loss, or accidents;
- any wrongful, negligent, or criminal conduct by a provider;
- the accuracy of information a provider gives about itself or its service.
These risks rest with the guest, the host, and the provider, not with Ounsia. The Terms of Service limitation of liability applies in full.
Disputes are between guest, host, and provider
Any complaint, claim, refund, or dispute about a third-party service must be resolved directly between the guest, the host, and the provider. Ounsia is not a party to that relationship and has no obligation to mediate, refund, or compensate, though we may, at our discretion, share available conversation records to assist.
Emergencies and critical needs
The bot is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact the local emergency number directly. Do not rely on the bot for medical, safety, legal, or other time-critical decisions.
Any emergency or health information shown (such as a pharmacy or hospital listing) is reference information only, may be incomplete or out of date, and is not a substitute for professional or official emergency services.
AI accuracy limits
The bot's answers, translations, and suggestions are generated by automated processing from host-supplied and reference data. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, or mistranslated. Verify anything important independently. Ounsia is not liable for decisions made in reliance on automated output.
