Cookie & Tracking Notice

This notice explains the cookies and similar storage Ounsia uses on its website and host dashboard, and how to manage them. Guests using the bot over WhatsApp are covered by the Guest Data & Consent Notice instead.

01

What cookies and storage are

Cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) are small pieces of data stored by your browser. We use them only on the website and dashboard, not in the WhatsApp conversation itself. We group them into strictly-necessary and analytics.

02

Strictly necessary

These are required for the service to work and cannot be switched off through the site. They do not require consent.

  • Authentication/session cookie — keeps a signed-in host logged in and secures the session.
  • Locale cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) — remembers your chosen language (Arabic, French, or English) so pages display in the right language and direction.
  • Security cookies and tokens — protect against cross-site request forgery and abuse.
03

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the website and dashboard are used and to detect errors, so we can improve reliability and usability. This may set analytics identifiers and record product events and, where enabled, session diagnostics.

Where required by applicable law, analytics are used on the basis of your consent or another lawful basis, and you can decline or withdraw. The specific consent mechanism and any opt-out are described in Section 5. TO BE PROVIDED: confirm analytics consent mechanism and any session-replay/masking settings

04

No advertising or cross-site tracking

We do not use cookies for advertising, ad targeting, or selling data, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers. Analytics are used to operate and improve Ounsia, not to profile you across other websites.

05

Managing and withdrawing consent

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and block or clear local storage there too. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break sign-in and language selection.

Where a consent banner or settings control is provided, you can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time through it. To request more information, contact TO BE PROVIDED: operator contact email (legal/privacy).

06

Changes

We may update this notice as our tools change. Material changes will be reflected here and, where required, communicated to you.
